With more than 700 courses available over two 6-week sessions and the Special Session with exciting courses offering varying start and end dates, UC Davis Summer Sessions provide students the opportunity to:

Summer Sessions, affectionately known as UC Davis’s Fourth Quarter, lets you concentrate on challenging courses a few courses at a time, meet new friends and learn more about the campus and Davis, the ultimate college town.
Current UC Davis students
Meet with your advisor now to prepare for 2025 Summer Sessions. Watch for your Pass Time email from the Office of the University Registrar in mid-April and enroll in Schedule Builder. One Pass Time is assigned and applies to all Summer Sessions.
Other students
Summer Sessions welcomes incoming new students entering UC Davis in fall 2025, students from other UC campuses or other universities, visitors to our campus, as well as UCD alumni. Join us!
