Applications and enrollment information
Summer Sessions welcomes new, incoming students entering UC Davis in fall 2025, students from other UC campuses or other universities, the community and UC Davis alumni.
High school students, International students, graduate students, dismissed UC Davis students and staff must submit an application. The application is brief and there is no fee to apply for summer courses. Visit the Fees and Aid page for information about course costs.
Once your application is approved, you will receive instructions on how to enroll in courses. Applications are processed by the Office of the University Registrar and typical processing time is 2-3 business days. Enrollment begins in late April.
Current UC Davis students
Continuing UC Davis undergraduate students (this includes enrolled International students) do not need to apply for Summer Sessions. Watch for your Pass Time email from the Registrar's office in mid-April and enroll via Schedule Builder. One Pass Time is assigned and applies to all Summer Sessions. Pass Times begin in April.
